Roaring Fork Fencers Club is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization with a mission to provide education on the Olympic sport of fencing to everyone in and around the Roaring Fork Valley. Donations support expanded access, scholarships, and the long-term sustainability of the club.
Each donation counts.
Roaring Fork Fencers Club serves an average of 25 annual members and 40-60 beginners each year through our in-house programming. We reach additional students through partnership with schools, such as the Waldorf on the Roaring Fork, and public demonstrations, such as Carbondale First Fridays.
Over 30% of our monthly membership receives some form of financial assistance and that percentage increases every quarter. Donations help make these scholarships possible while also supporting expanded access for new members, keeping membership prices down, and helping to support backend club operations.
We get it—the RFV is a unique and beautiful but sometimes challenging place to live and thrive as a family. Our one-of-a-kind mountain community deserves equally unique and world-class opportunities for recreation for valley residents and visitors. Roaring Fork Fencers Club offers this through an amazing and welcoming community of fencers alongside stellar coaching staff.
Our members have achieved brilliant competitive results, including top 3% national ranking by age; top 20 rankings on regional points lists; and more medals than we can count. Both these big moments of self-actualization and the small triumphs achieved by every member during training are dependent on the support of our donors.
