Our Mission
Roaring Fork Fencers Club is a 501c3 nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the Olympic sport of fencing by fostering participation, skill development, and community engagement in the Roaring Fork Valley and beyond, including for economically disadvantaged and underserved youth, families, and other individuals in part through cooperation with schools and other charitable organizations.

Our Organization
Roaring Fork Fencers Club provides accessible fencing programs to residents throughout the Carbondale to New Castle area, welcoming people of all ages, backgrounds, abilities, and identities.
We offer beginner classes that teach fundamental skills in a fun, community-focused environment, followed by ongoing group practices five days per week for continued development.
As a founding Olympic sport, fencing builds athleticism, problem-solving skills, and community connections while creating pathways to post-secondary educational excellence.
Our fencers have achieved remarkable competitive achievements including earning national points and consistently high rankings on USA Fencing’s regional points lists. They are supported by knowledgeable and compassionate elite coaching staff.
Roaring Fork Fencers Club has been in operation since August 2017. The Club transitioned to become a 501c3 charitable organization in July 2025.
